Dear Graduation Project Judges:
As an aspiring military mechanic I chose to do my Senior Project on Auto Mechanics. Learning the importance of teamwork and how staying up to date on the rapid development of Auto Mechanics diagnostics gave me a broad spectrum to work in. Some of the hands on experience included rotating and balancing tires, checking and changing oil, and belt replacement. To see how a person works in an environment where there are standards that must be met and having to work as a team player showed me that the Auto Mechanics field is still one that I will pursue throughout my military career.
A young man in today’s society is expected to be a valuable asset to both the work and home life. While working on my Senior Project I found that not only is it important to be valued at home but also at work. By showing others that they could depend on me for their mechanical needs it made me feel better as a person. Knowing that families were safer because I had taken time to check their mechanical failures showed in my home and school life as well. Becoming a more patient person while diagnosing mechanical problems will also help further me in my future endeavors with the military.
The Senior Project as a hole was a benefactor to my future because I learned a lot of useful information. As my project comes to a finishing point I’m left to reflect on what I thought where the key points that I will take with me throughout my life. The Yola site would have to of been the most difficult piece of the project for me because im not as Technology savvy as some others may be. Then the actual mechanical hours I put in would be the easiest because I enjoy working on cars and trucks. But you have to look at the entire Senior Project and know that this is a learning experience to how life will be. There will always be things I’m not so good at and things in life I’m great at but to reach a finishing point that meets standards you have to give one hundred percent no matter the situation
Sincerely,
Brandon Hudson
